As the previsions said, I started some steps deeper steps of the pre-production (like sketching and photoshoping concepts), but then, I saw that I wasn't comfortable with the way where to the whole thing was going.
The screenplay and the storyboard are okay, still keeping a story which I consider deep enough to be interesting, but, well, the message was too childly, too happy! Damn, those felling deviate the animation for a direction that once I would like, but now I am not feeling really comfortable with it.
So, I reviewed my last design and photography jobs to see what kind of design are truly myself. I found the answer and tried to translate to some concept arts. At that moment I saw how strange is when a designer, which strict visual and symbolical studies think a screenplay. I prefer to express my ideas with images, not with text, hehe. If you see the screenplay of the animation, it looks like a lot of notes put together and with some connective prepositions. Well, let`s see how it'll end :)
Now, I pretend to follow a language which is more symbolical and meaningful, using some original and ironic graphic elements. Take a look over the actual Blog's banner, you can see a photo-montage which translate the general idea about how the scenery will looks like, and I am posting also now two concepts for the male character, but those, of course, still needing much more work.
Well, thanks for reading, this always makes me feel more inspired to proceed the workful task.
Next post, which I hope do at the weekend, I'll upload some photos and a short resume about the Berlin's Cut&Paste 2010, which fortunately I went last week :D
