A hard working week

Hello All!

Well, I think last week was one of the hardest of my whole life! Starting with my work, which makes me stay working from 12 to 14 hours a days, and even at the sunday I worked around 9 hours!!! I can't lie saying it was horrible, because I got some good time with my colleges, eating pizzas, seting up a photography studio, 3D modeling, ping pong, papercraft etc. But the thing which made everything harder was my soul who was in a very inspired mood and keeps me awaken writing and research for the Dearest Chameleon. This happened especially because the team is growing up and everybody is excited with the project, so it is difficult to not get involved on it!

At least I can say that the pre production phase is in its early end, needing just some adjustments at the treatment to be ready to GO!
this week I would like to introduce a newcomer!

Daniel Ferreira FlorĂȘncio
Daniel is a photographer by profession, he really loves what he does and has already won a national prize of photography. He lived at Portugal for one year where he had some experiences with cinema, and at the split of those two interests, Daniel will assume a place at the Photography direction of the animation.

Expanding!

Hello all!
Well, with this post I happily announce that the Dearest Chameleon will grow up!
Last week, Lucas, Guilherme and me had a conversation about the idea of studio Sagwee and we decided to transform the project, at least by the moment, into a independent animation's producer.
We decided this because, for the moment, it would be much more interesting for us if we just keep going on our studies and career, in order to gain more experience and practice and, maybe, later in the future, we can consolidate the Sagwee better.

After those decisions we decided to hug a production and make it happens, then I suggested to use the Dearest Chameleon and now we`re all into it! Wohoo!

This is pretty cool, because now we are expanding in a whole huge range the possibility to make the animation something pretty decent, using a well organized team with around 20 people.
We set, at the moment some functions for the "Sagwees":

So, let's introduce the newcomers!

Lucas Almeida de Carvalho!
He is a big buddy of me, who loves animation and geek jobs! He is a co-founder of the Sagwee idea, and we have been working in some projects together for almost 2 yeas. His specialties are related to the CGI and he is joining to assume the Post-Production Direction but to work Also as 3D Artist. Lucas really likes to draw and to create concepts, so, early at the project he will assist the Scenery designers.
As a Sagwee's CEO, he is also getting a job at the production, doing the Human Relations to help making the worker's life better :)

Guilherme Gonçalves Santos!

He is a great friend, who shares the taste for animation and games, and was the first to say me "Hey, let's make some 3D projects together" and after it, Sagwee was born!
He is also interested for CGI and will manly take the position of the 3D Modeling Director. But will work also as a Material Designer, in the shading department and Character designer. Guilherme is also involved with the production as assistant.

Well, see you at the next post!
